Economic growth in Tangshi city, China, where our spinning mills are based, has placed significant pressure on housing and accommodation. In 2012, Südwolle Group worked with the government to supply affordable and quality accommodation for staff and their families. This resulted in the addition of a large 50-room dormitory to the 22-room dormitory that had been previously established. Südwolle Group offers a subsidised house purchase option for staff in China, in an arrangement that rewards loyalty to the company, and workplace performance. We also run a programme to support employees who have children with special needs.
